Description

-- NFS HIGH STAKES MOD --

Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4

The new era of Lamborghini has arrived at NFS High Stakes.

Made from a blank slate, Lamborghini has decided that handling,

acceleration and top speed would be prioritized for the Aventador.

Priorities that in previous models were taken in reverse.

The Aventador becomes the first Lamborghini car to have a body made

mostly of carbon fiber, making it lighter than the Murcielago SV.

Dude, this is awesome! Downloading now. :thumbsup::cool:

So glad we don't have to worry about poly limit thanks to the modern patch.

    Impressive car, Nice work.

I couldn 't load a race with this (game freezed)

Than I removed dash fce, which is a complete car (10k poly's) and it worked.

What's the idea behind this dashview?, it looks like you wanted a roofcam.

The idea wasn't really mine. The idea was who took the photos, and the truth is it wasn't such a bad idea. But if the file fails, you could upload an update but without the dash.

Seems like you're still running a setup which doesn't support high poly stuff, you need to set OwnHeapLimit to 512 in nfs4.ini

EDIT: If you're using nGlide, there's always going to be a possibility that you can't load into a race if there's "too many" polies. Just use DirectX through DGVoodoo with proper settings. It's really easy to setup

I should say I tried to race the car without VEGpatch.

But you don't need a whole car for a dash.fce

Well that's a problem then, and it seems you're not aware of TsTg's highpoly patch for the nfshsgame.exe which i posted some years ago in the forums.

When i create dashes like this, i don't have much time to create them. If you're up to removing not seeable polygons in the dash.fce, go ahead and take your time, but i think it's unneccessary if your game is setup correctly, even with a 10k poly car

Don't forget to use DirectX through DGVoodoo with a "custom" GPU where you can set the maximum available GPU ram. This is also very important. Pls don't use nGlide if you do. It also causes subtle input lag

Just put dgvoodoo in nfshs.ini, but the game runs exactly the same as with nglide.

Please just select any DirectX, no matter if running Modern Patch or nfshsgame.exe, do this by using the 3DSetup which comes with the Expansion Pack. I don't think that the original 3DSetup from the game would work on newer systems. Then, if you have chosen DirectX as your renderer (and it has to be DirectX only, forget about DGVoodoo here), download this file here:

      https://drive.google.com/file/d/1oDysazxdFYH466gIO6Rg1aOrlX-O38au/view?usp=sharing

If your anti-defender detects a threat, make an exclusion or disable your stuff, then put the contents of the ZIP file into your main directory. It will work for both your modern patch and the nfshsgame.exe (if you have set up things correctly like i described above)

Thanks for sharing this info, Pete. NFS has never ran this smooth and sharp on my system.

And the best part? I can use DirectX (best renderer for nfs4 as we all know) and alt-tab out the game with no problems!

Yes, i'm happy for you that it works so good. Though i can't alttab properly, but still i can alttab in a way which makes me satisfied. I'm with you that DirectX is the best renderer, but i have to say that Glide Wrappers or nGlide look better, but they work worse

When I run the 3Dsetup from EP, I can choose:

    Glide (voodoo cards)

    Direct 3D

    Softw. renderer

Choose Direct 3D and after that choose DirectX 7 (2001.01.18.1651).dll

If DirectX 7 doesn't work, choose DirectX 9 instead
