Magic BNK Tool
Djey a member of the french TDU community, realsed a new mod, called Magic BNK. This is another milestone towards modding TDU successful. What the tool does is to disable the BNK size check from the TDU engine. The Benefit is that people can replace any BNK with any other, without worring about the byte size of the BNK's. This comes very handy for the upcoming and new cars, and opens the modders a another new door as they are no longer limited by the given BNK file sizes. The tool is tested out online and is fully save to use. I uploaded the File to our Tools & Files area. go get it while its hot.

TDU Import / Export Filter for ZMod2
On 31. of July, Oleg published a new Update for his ZMod2 Modeller Software. This Update includes the special ability to import and also to export 3d meshes to TDU. In other words, you are finally able to modify Meshes. Oleg suggests that this new filter is more or less only for advanced users that know what they are doing. For more detailed information about the Filter you may check the original thread about it from Oleg at: the ZModeler Forums

TDU Got two years old!
We from TDU ADDONS wish Test Drive Unlimited a happy second birthday. The Game was created on 11.07.2006 at a time of 18:32 or 19:32. You can prove these dates when you check the last modification date of the original Eden files from your TDU DVD! So happy 2nd Birthday TDU, hopefully many more years come!

Well, ROCKPORT POLICE GUY... you got your wish. The Tri-city Carlot has been updated with 5 more cars that will be in NFS:UC.

- '67 Shelby GT500
- '06 Mazda RX-8
- '03 BMW M3
- '06 Pagani Zonda F
- '06 Lamborghini Murcielago LP640

Mike... the "'06 Lamborghini Murcielago LP640" is in fact the "Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4." I don't know what happened, but the picture and caption don't seem to match. ARGH

I agree they show to the Murcielago the Gallardo screenshot. But when you look on the informations you see that price and perfomance match the LP640. I guess the guy that posted did pickup the wrong screenshot.

hey Mike just as info, Evan reminded me that EA wrote under the Gallardo Screenshot on the NFS MW page also the name Murcielago... either they pick up this old misstake as a joke. or the people that make this homepages refuses to call Murcie and gallardo correct.

IMO, this car list is looking pretty boring, except for the Gallardo LP560-4 and the CLS 63. I'm really wanting some low-end cars for some reason.
