Latest NFS News

Well, it has happened, now that Undercover is released our favorite master engineer, Arushan, has put his new site NFSnation live. On the site, you will gain new news, as you would here at NFSAddons, but also the exclusive tools he has released.

Currently, the first Mod he has released is the "Undercover Photomode Mod" which removes all text from the game while in Photomode. After which, you can use your PrintScreen button, or any other screen capture program to gather a collection of untainted quality NFS images, without having to upload them to needforspeed.com.

Arushan has also made note that there will not be a forum on NFSNation, yet, but will try to answer any questions on the forums.

Today is the release date for NFS Undercover here in North America. European players will need to wait 3 more days until the 21st to get their hands on it.

Once again, there will be a Collectors Edition upgrade for the next NFS. It has only been confirmed so far for Playstation 3, but you gotta think it will be available for XBOX 360, too.

The Tri City Carlot will be updating the list daily (during the week) from here forth.
The List has already been placed for this week, starting with the '06 Lotus Elise.

The other five have horsepower, front or rear drive, prices, and top speeds, which can leave you some speculations in which the cars will be.

For example: The car delivered October 21st has the description of,

$212,000, RWD, 530HP, 505 lbs/tq, Top Speed: 204mph

This could be any higher end exotic, but you will find out exactly what it is tomorrow.

The Tricity Carlot has been updated once again, with 6 more cars:

- One car to be announced later (likely tomorrow).

Well, ROCKPORT POLICE GUY... you got your wish. The Tri-city Carlot has been updated with 5 more cars that will be in NFS:UC.

- '06 Mazda RX-8
- '03 BMW M3
- '06 Pagani Zonda F
- '06 Lamborghini Murcielago LP640

The official Tri-city Carlot and Tri-city Gazette sites have been updated. The carlot lists 3 new cars:

- 2009 Audi S5
- 2008 Lexus IS-F
- 2007 Nissan GT-R (R35)

EA recently let us NFS fan sites submit questions to the producers, and we have received the answers! Lots of information is released, and it is exclusive to us fansites... you won't find it on Gamestop or IGN (until they read it and copy it).

Also, they released the PC system requirements

It is official, the producers at EA have decided NOT to make a demo this year.

They had planned this from the beginning of the development cycle of undercover so that they could dedicate more time to the game itself and not the demo.

There has been views on both sides of the fence on whether or not this is a good idea.
